Why Does Gratitude Begin With the Ordinary Things We Have Learned to Take for Granted?

The canonical unit begins from a world built on kindness and mutual dependence. Even an ordinary piece of bread or daily product reaches us through the work of many people: farmers, marketers, bakers, warehouses, transport, machines and fuel are all source-supported modern details. Familiarity hides that network because repeated benefit begins to look automatic. Gratitude starts by making the invisible chain visible again. It is not only a polite feeling toward someone who did us an obvious favor. It is a way of seeing how much of ordinary life depends on effort we did not create ourselves.
