If God Already Knows What I Will Choose, Can I Really Choose Differently?

The theological question of divine knowledge and free will meets a very human experience: “I already know myself; I will react the same way.” Habit, temperament, history, and conditioning narrow the space of choice, but they do not turn identity into destiny. Sometimes freedom is not located before the first emotional surge. It appears a few seconds later, at the next available point: whether to continue the outburst, pick up the phone, apologize, pause, or choose one different response. Small choices accumulate. They do not deny the past; they refuse to let the past have exclusive ownership of the future.
