Can We Repent for the Life We Never Lived?
Regret is not only about what we did. It is also about what we postponed until the opportunity changed: time with children who grew up, learning we kept delaying, care for health, attention to a marriage, a parent we assumed would always be there, a calling we never tested. Repentance for omission cannot return the years. Its power lies elsewhere: to stop converting regret into paralysis and turn it into a new order of priorities. The question is not how to recover lost time, but what the lost time is asking us to do with the time that remains.
